Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Syxon's websites, local-first ion workspace, shared knowledge surfaces, and related services ("Services"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement.
Description of Service
Syxon provides local-first tools for private ions, Emerga assistance where available, shared knowledge and reporting surfaces, and public audit or governance interfaces. Syxon is the software platform for private learning and Fracta work; Ion Commons is the shared governance and public-record layer around it. Our Services are designed to help people structure private thought, inspect public records, and participate in governed knowledge systems.
Public Record and External Routes
Syxon's current public accountability path points to Ion Commons/Xray for public claims, decisions, incidents, and challenges. Public contributions made through Ion Commons or other external services may be governed by their own terms and public-record expectations. Do not submit private or confidential material through a public challenge route.
User Accounts
To access certain features of our Services, you may be required to create an account. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Providing accurate and complete information
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
Acceptable Use
You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the Services
- Upload or transmit harmful code or content
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Privacy and Data
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Intellectual Property
The Services and their original content, features, and functionality are owned, licensed, or stewarded according to the relevant Syxon and Ion Commons legal instruments and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. Ion Commons is the decentralized, federated, open, and inspectable stewardship path around the shared layer, but not every Syxon internal system is public source today. Public source commitments apply first to the shell Ion, protocol/app structure, public records, and governance-facing surfaces as they are released under their specific licenses.
User Content
You retain ownership of content you create using our Services. By using our Services, you grant us a limited license to process and store your content to provide the Services to you. Content deliberately published to public record or contribution surfaces may be visible, citeable, and persistent.
Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability of our Services but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend or modify the Services for maintenance, updates, or other operational reasons.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Syxon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Services.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page.
Investment and Media Materials
Investor and press pages are informational. They do not create investment terms, partnership obligations, warranties, or rights unless separately agreed in writing.
